Prince Eugene of Savoy

After a short peace that lasted only a few years, a new war between Austria and Turkey broke out in 1716. The Austrian army in the Petrovaradin Fortress and on the Bačka side near Futog numbered 76,000 soldiers. The commander-in-chief was Prince Eugene of Savoy.
